Top Things to Do in San Diego – Feb. 14-26, 2023

Known as one of the most prestigious Jewish film festivals in the country, the event will showcase a selection of the best contemporary Jewish-related films. 35 feature films are being screened during the event, allowing film enthusiasts to view in person at the David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre. Some of the films will be screened virtually from Feb. 27 – Mar. 3, 2023.

San Diego Rocket Con is coming up on its 4th Annual show. This 2-day show is filled with various vendors with all kinds of collectibles, comics, toys, and other items fans love! Meet voice actors from your favorite anime such as Dragonball Z, My Hero Academia, and even Naruto, or take a picture with real life Power Rangers. Maybe you want a special sketch of your favorite superhero drawn by famous artists from Marvel and DC. Participate in the cosplay contest and see if you have what it takes to win. There’s something for everyone at San Diego Rocket Con!

Held every February, the Oceanside International Film Festival is an opportunity for independent filmmakers to have their work screened along the county’s North Coast region. It also gives attendees a chance to view local and international cinema at a venue in Southern California known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and unique artistic community.

Celebrate the birds and habitats of San Diego county with the San Diego Audubon Society. In a world where social media and smart devices seem to be taking over, birds are a lovely reminder that the world is full of real experiences. All you need to do is Look Up! Know that your experience is giving something back to the birds: the proceeds of this festival support the education, conservation, and sanctuary programs of San Diego Audubon Society.

Seltzerland will be turning Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego into a hard seltzer paradise. Guests will be able to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience tasting 100+ unique hard seltzers from local and national brands. Each year, more than 20,000 gray whales make a 10,000-mile round-trip journey from Alaska to the lagoons of Baja California, where the females give birth to their calves. With 70 miles of coastline directly in the migration path, San Diego is an ideal destination to see this impressive parade of gentle giants.
